Defiant Wilfried Nancy does not fear dismissal but supporters show wrath following loss.
The under-pressure manager stated he did not fear losing his job, claiming, “I believe we are really close to changing our fortunes,” even after moving dangerously close to being fired with a heavy setback against their arch-rivals.
A Second-Half Collapse Sees Old Firm Defeat
The home side were ahead Rangers at the interval but a second-half capitulation enabled Danny Röhl’s team to move level on points with the reigning league title holders. The former MLS manager, who was brought in in December, has now been in charge for six setbacks in eight matches.

Focus on the Details
The coach remains focused on the fact his team show good levels for a half at a time. Indeed, but for wastefulness in front of goal they could have been greater than 1-0 up. “I saw enough except the fact that we haven’t scored a second goal,” he said. “I acknowledge that we lost, but it's important to stay balanced.
“The level we had at times was really, really, really high. That happened. And I would not say that if it was untrue. Therefore, when it comes to wins, I mentioned it's a repeating pattern. That’s why I believe a change is coming to a shift in fortunes. Right now: details, details, details.”
“We produced a lot of encouraging signs that we did, as was the case today. However is consistency. My outlook would change if it was not the case. Therefore I am a big believer the team can to get back on track.”
Opposition Reaction Response
Rangers manager played down talk of a serious challenge despite what seemed like a statement victory. “One match at a time, so we can develop something here,” he said. “The belief in the group is outstanding.”
