Nigel Farage Accuses Educators of ‘Indoctrinating Children’ on Racial Topics

The political figure stated that educators would initiate walkouts shortly after a Reform UK election victory, charging that they are “harming young minds” by telling children that black pupils are victims and white children oppressors.

During an event for a private US Christian college, the politician expressed his viewpoint on British schools, claiming that the “Marxist left” had “now in control of our education system”.

“I’m anticipating a walkout by educators soon after securing a victory,” Farage commented in response to questions.

“They are poisoning our kids. They are telling them to feel guilt about their nation. They are telling an eight-year-old black child that he is a victim and a white child of the same age that he is an oppressor. They are dividing us, not uniting us. They are feeding this harmful mindset.”

In response to Farage’s claims, Daniel Kebede rejected the idea that the schools were under Marxist influence as “absurd”. He pointed out that any strikes must relate to teachers’ terms and conditions, and doubted whether the party would target these immediately upon entering government.

“Farage has built his political career on coded rhetoric and now, similar to other figures, he is targeting educators and their organizations for a fight,” the union leader said.

“This is highly reckless. Neither I nor our union – push critical race theory as he claims … If he were to lead the government he would sell out our public services, particularly schooling … and he would be a disaster for education and children.”

The party, which tops surveys by a significant margin, has not set out much detail on its educational plans and does not appear to have designated an education lead.

Nonetheless, his comments suggested the party would overhaul the educational framework. He said: “We face an enormous task with schooling – absolutely herculean. Moreover, it won’t happen quickly; it will take us years, a long-term effort to reform.”

Farage expressed that gen Z was more open to analytical thought, but millennials were “absolutely hopeless”.

Honoring Charlie Kirk, he commented: “My goal for schooling is to foster independent thought – to educate individuals that there are two points of view and they should decide for themselves as opposed to what’s happening now where one is virtuous and one is evil. It’s a massive job in the UK and US.”

Reform has previously clashed with a major educators’ organization, after the union leader labeled them “extremist and prejudiced” and described the leader as “a poundshop Donald Trump”.

Farage has accused Kebede of being “an avowed radical” … an individual intent that our children should be poisoned at school, their minds should be poisoned about everything to do with this country” and maintained that the union is trying to indoctrinate teenagers against Reform.

Roughly a million individuals are employed in education in the UK, with educators comprising half and the remainder being assistants and administrative personnel. The leading teachers’ organization has about 450,000 members.

Countrywide walkouts over teacher pay and conditions in recent years caused widespread disruption in schools and millions of days of lost learning for children.

During the American gathering, the Reform leader also pledged to help spread the online educational material of the institution in the UK. He said such groups were “part of the fightback”, adding that: “I am serious. I will help attract vast numbers of young people to your online courses. I make that commitment now and I’ll do that.”

The institution, a small private Christian college, provides complimentary classes. Its website states: “A scientific, literary, theological, political, and moral education is necessary for personal happiness and to maintain the benefits of freedom. It offers these beautiful courses for free to every interested learner.”
